At the age of 9, Misti’s mother told her that “A day without something learned is a day lost,” and she’s lived by those words ever since. She’s been a wife, a mother, a grandmother and lived in 8 states, becoming an avid people watcher, reader and lover of the arts. Misti returned to acting in 1995 after a hiatus to raise her children. Since then, she’s worked on stages in NYC and the surrounding area, and did some extra work segueing into independent film, local commercials and voice over work including a short, animated film. She feels blessed to have worked almost nonstop ever since. She writes for multiple newsletters aimed at all facets of the business and works with playwrights, helping them to develop their work, while she sharpens her skills and understanding of character and storytelling. She’s still learning every day.
